From Appointed Lords to Elected Senators
The Union between England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland is in a fragile state. Separatists dominate the north and Northern Ireland is always on the edge.

Yet no political party with real power appears to be interested in proper reform. A lot of people are not happy with the current system. The House of Lords for instance, is an outdated mechanism made up of unelected peers.
In my view, the Lord's in it's current state cannot survive. It should be replaced by a Senate with equal representation from the 4 home nations. These Senators should be elected via a proportional system.
As the system progresses the UK should make a gradual transition to federalism. It's about time the powers at be, realised that we need to move with the times.
